After going for a PT test this morning we made our usual stop at WalMart and Ingles. Before I go any farther with this story I must tell you the temp never got above 45 today. With the wind chill it was even colder. Joann had two movies to return. There is one of those Movie Drop boxes in front of Ingles. So Joann pulls up to this DB but the passenger had to drop them into the box. I, being the passenger, could not reach far enough to drop the movies. Remember I told you it was bitter cold and Joann had put the window down on my side. Well, she said "I will do it Mom" as she put my window up and got out of the car. This she did without a coat on.
Now the real fun begins. I don't know which button is for the window and which one is for locking and unlocking the doors. For some unknown reason I decided it was time for me to learn which button did what and so I started pushing both of them. You guessed it - I locked Joann out of her car and she is standing out in the cold. I pushed both buttons repeatedly and even though it was just a matter of minutes it seemed like forever especially to Joann till finally I pushed the right button as she tried to open the door. All of this while the shoppers passed by wondering what is going on here. Joann explained to those that asked but I was protected by the raised window.
What do you want to bet Joann will take the keys with her whenever she gets out of the car when I am the passenger.
